Royals are looking for businesses, organizations or individuals that would like to donate tickets to the "ROYAL PAY IT FORWARD PROGRAM." This program allows the Royals to donate tickets to youth organizations, community groups, and less fortunate to enjoy the games. The Royals also donate to this account.

Little Miss Flint Cheer For Vehicle City Royals

Flint Roll Out The Red Carpet For 2016 NEBA Drafts And Official After Party

The New Era Basketball Association will light up Flint Michigan this evening with their 2016 draft. The draft will take place at Uptown Sports Bar and Grill. Doors open at 5pm, followed by the official after party. Come out this evening and be a part of history.


NEBA 2016 Draft To Be Held In Flint

The New Era Basketball Association (NEBA) will hold their official 2016 professional draft in Flint, MI. The draft will take place April 15th, at the Empire Event Center (4905 Clio. Rd., Flint MI 48504.)

Opening weekend will include the draft,  community events and Battle Of The Mitten, which will showcase the Vehicle City Royals against rival team, Detroit Coast To Coast.

NEBA Kicks Off Season With Battle Of The Mitten

The Vehicle City Royals with kick off the 2016 season against rival NEBA team, Detroit Coast To Coast. The game will take place,  at Carmen Ainsworth Highschool at 6PM on April 16th. Check back for more news on this rival game.


Mykel Darrough​ a life-time Flint resident made history in January 2016 at the age of 28 by
becoming the youngest man to own a major league professional basketball franchise.
Mykel’s previous experience is in owning his own sports promotion company (Truly Grand
Sports Promotions LLC) that includes sports marketing and management. He was previously
general manager of ABA Chargers which was a semi-professional basketball organization in
Mid-Michigan. Mykel is heavily involved in the Flint community working with the youth at
WOW outreach program as sports program director. He has also partnered with the Warrior
Foundation in servicing the community through monthly water, food, and diaper distribution.
Mykel was a strong supporter of Mayor Karen Weaver during her campaign for Mayor.
